The organization SoDESH started in 1995 in Satkhira district with the vision is to establish sustainable poverty free democratic society where good governance and gender equality should be ensured and improve the livelihood security of the vulnerable and poor people in the southwest part of Bangladesh, especially Satkhira, Khulna, and Jessore district.

SoDESH has 28 years of expertise in Social Mobilization, Issue-based campaigns, Civil Society Members Coordination, Several Types of Volunteerism, A group of skilled staff, National and Local Level NGO relations and Partnerships, Relations with the press and media, Organization Commitment, etc.

Various rallies and discussions were held in Satkhira on the occasion of International Women's Day with the theme "Digital technology and innovation, will end gender discrimination".
